Go West

I’m heading way out West, where the rain don’t fall. No, I don’t have a job with a company digging for oil – I’m going snake catching. A Swiss parasitologist needs a hand in the field, so I’m giving him mine. We’re going out to St. George, passing through Dalby and Moonie on the way. We’re looking for cestodes in Mulga Snakes, Gould’s Monitors, Lace Monitors, Bearded Dragons, and a few other species. We’re mainly looking for fresh road kill, and I mean fresh – after 10 or so minutes in the Sun, the worms will start to die.
