Frogging at Theodore

In February some friends and I went frogging near the town of Theodore. They’d had heaps of rain recently, so we figured the frogs would be out in force. On the way to Theodore, we stopped at a rivier to look for turtles.

A saw-shelled turtle (Elseya latisternum).

Frogging in the Conondales

Today K-ris and I went frogging at Conondale national park in the Conondale Ranges.
We stayed at the Kenilworth Field Research Station. We got out there in the late afternoon (after finding a recently hit eastern water dragon [Physignathus lesueurii lesueurii] on the road) and headed straight up to the study site in Conondale national park. [...]
